INTERNATIONAL SINGLE-ROUND ONLINE COMPETITION
ALATONE 2026
The competition accepts participants aged 7 to 16 (children) and 17 to 22 (youth) in the following categories: piano, harp, violin, viola, cello and double bass, chamber ensembles, all wind instruments, vocal, and percussion instruments. Participants aged 23 and above may also take part in the competition.

Children and youth aged 7 to 22, as well as children with disabilities and orphans, may participate in the competition.
We are opening a special group for participants above 23 years of age in all categories.
Do not be afraid to participate in the competition, even if you have just begun your creative journey! We are extremely supportive of all contestants, as our main goal is to encourage your creative abilities and help you choose the right path for further development.
The International Diploma of our competition certifies your creative skills, evaluated by a team of international experts from 10 countries, who have extensive stage and teaching experience at universities and conservatories in Spain, the USA, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, India, Argentina, Peru, Georgia, Germany, and Tatarstan. The jury comprises vocalists, conductors, musicians, producers, and music critics. The international jury is appointed by the competition organizer.
The diploma will become part of your portfolio and may be used for admission to educational institutions, as well as for applying for scholarships and grants.

Age Categories will be divided as follows:For Instrumentalists:- 7-9 years, Group A Professional
- 7-9 years, Group Aa Amateur
- 10-12 years, Group B Professional
- 10-12 years, Group Bb Amateur
- 13-16 years, Group C Professional
- 13-16 years, Group Cc Amateur
- 17-22 years, Group D Professional
- 23 and above / Group Amateur
EnsemblesMixed age groups from 7 years and above.
Application Submission Terms and Registration:- Registration must be completed according to the requirements on the website and must include: Category, Last Name, First Name, Age, Country, Instrument, Video Link, Teacher's Name, Educational Institution Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
- Performance duration for the first online qualifying round must be no less than 3 and no more than 10 minutes. The program is free choice, consisting of 1 to 2 pieces. Only live performances in one or two unedited tracks will be considered.
- The recording must be submitted via a link to YouTube or a Telegram channel.
- Applications are accepted from February 15 to April 15, 2026. Results will be published on the website www.alatone.kz.

Participation in the competition requires an entry fee:- Solo instrumentalists and vocalists - $100
- For small ensembles up to 4 people - $150
- Ensembles of 5 to 8 people - $250
- Choirs - $300

For children with disabilities and orphans (upon submission of a supporting certificate from the relevant organization, bearing the organization's seal, signature of the head, contact phone number, and address), participation in the competition is free of charge. Diplomas for winners and participation certificates for all participants will be sent via email. Monetary and special prizes will be transferred to bank accounts!
The jury reserves the right to invite the best prize-winning performers to gala concerts, which will take place in Yerevan (Armenia), Milan (Italy), Madrid (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), and Arnhem (The Netherlands), with live streaming on our YouTube channel and press invitations.JURY AND EVALUATION CRITERIAThe jury has the right to:- withhold awarding all prizes;
- share prizes among performers;
- award diplomas to teachers for outstanding achievements.

Awards are distributed by age groups as follows:Participants in the professional group receive monetary prizes and diplomas! Participants registered in the amateur group receive diplomas only! Participants from both groups may take part in the gala concerts; recommendations for participation in the gala concerts are given by the competition jury.- Participants scoring up to 70% of the points will receive -- Diploma of Participation;
- Participants scoring from 70% to 79% of the points -- Laureate of the 3rd Degree, receive a diploma and a monetary award of $500. If there are multiple recipients, the monetary prize is divided among them.
- Participants scoring from 80% to 89% of the points -- Laureate of the 2nd Degree; receive a diploma and a monetary award of $800. If there are multiple recipients, the monetary prize is divided among them.
- Participants scoring from 90% to 99% of the points -- Laureate of the 1st Degree; receive a diploma and a monetary award of $800. If there are multiple recipients, the monetary prize is divided among them.
- Participants scoring 100% of the points -- Grand Prix Winners of the competition! The Grand Prix can be awarded to only one participant per category across all age groups from 7 to 22 years old. The winner receives a diploma and a monetary award of $1000.
