Ayzhan Kuldzhanova

Ayzhan Kuldzhanova is a professor at the Department of Orchestral Performance at the Kazakh National University of Arts, an Honored Worker of Education, and an Excellent Educator of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She has trained a whole host of professional, talented, and in-demand musicians who have continued the performing traditions of their teacher. She founded the "Bolashak" cello ensemble and remains its artistic director to this day.
The "Bolashak" cello ensemble is a bright and organized collective. Talented graduates demonstrate their creativity on republican and world stages with great skill and have become laureates of many competitions. The achievements of the cello ensemble are a vivid indicator of Ayzhan Kuldzhanova's pedagogical work: Grand Prix at the International Silk Road Music Competition in Batumi, Georgia (2020); Grand Prix at the IV Republican "Song of the Motherland" Competition in Pavlodar (2023); Grand Prix at the International Ensemble Competition as part of the 3rd MECMA (Middle East Classical Music Academy) in Dubai, UAE (2024).
Ayzhan Kuldzhanova's pedagogical talent is reflected in the upbringing of young talented musicians. Over 42 years of pedagogical activity, her students have represented Kazakhstan at more than 520 republican and international competitions in Italy, the USA, Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, the UAE, and others. At the Xth International Youth Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, she was awarded a special prize for "Best Teacher". Students of Ayzhan Kuldzhanova's class have repeatedly performed as part of the Central Asian Youth Orchestra in cities of Central Asia and Europe, representing the cello school of Kazakhstan at the Academy of CIS Countries of Yuri Bashmet and at the "New Names" creative school of Denis Matsuev.
Ayzhan Kuldzhanova's achievements are well-known in the world of music. She possesses great pedagogical and creative potential. Her work is bright, in-demand, and aimed at educating professionals, preserving and developing the national culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
