Graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and postgraduate studies in the class of Professor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Yu. Dolzhikov. Laureate of All-Union and international competitions, including: the All-Union Competition (2nd Prize, Voronezh, 1991), Laureate of the Interregional Competition (1st Prize, Kyrgyzstan, 1993), Laureate of the International Competition (1st Prize, Kazakhstan, 1994), Laureate of the International Chamber Ensembles Competition in Kazan, as part of the Syrinx Flute Quartet (1st flute, 2000), Laureate of the Shabyt International Competition in Astana (1st Prize), participant of the Nielsen International Competition in Denmark, participant of international festivals: "Eurochestria" (France), "The Soul of Japan" (Russia), and the international festival dedicated to the memory of the outstanding flutist and pedagogue Yu. Dolzhikov. Balzhan Saparova worked for many years in various orchestras in Russia, including the Russian State Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Television, worked as the concertmaster of the flute section in the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan, and is currently a soloist with the Astana Opera Theater orchestra. She successfully combines performing with teaching, initially at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, and currently at the Kazakh National University of Arts, where she successfully leads a flute class. Member of the jury of the 44th Republican Competition, the Salute of Talents International Competition, and the My Flute International Competition. Balzhan has led an active creative life for almost 30 years, not only in her homeland, but also far beyond its borders. For example, in 1995, she performed concerts with the "New Names" program dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the UN (Paris) and the 50th anniversary of UNESCO (Geneva). With the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan (GASO RK), she performed flute concertos by J. Ibert (2009), C.P.E. Bach (2007), the Tarantella by C. Saint-Saëns for flute and clarinet (2012), and the Concertino for flute and oboe by I. Moscheles (2007, 2012). With the Astana Opera Theater orchestra (2014-2021), she performed D. Bizet-Born's Fantasy on Themes from the Opera "Carmen," I. Mercadante's Concerto in E minor, J. Ibert's Concerto, I. Doppler's Fantasy on Themes from the Opera "Rigoletto," and others. With the Antonio Symphony Orchestra, she performed T. Kazhgaliyev's "Triple Concerto" at the Orchestrion Concert Hall in Moscow (2017), and A. Kazhgaliyeva's "Suite" (specially written for Balzhan) at the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory (2022). With the Manas Presidential Orchestra of Kyrgyzstan, she performed C.P.E. Bach's Concerto and J.S. Bach's Suite (2022), among other works.
